Aleksandr Rakhmanov is a prominent chess player from Russia, who has emerged victorious in numerous international tournaments throughout his career. In addition to his numerous triumphs, he has been a consistent contender in several global events, including the European and World Championships, and the 2019 World Cup. Rakhmanov has also earned several notable rankings, such as his 21st place finish in the 2017 World Rapid Championship, held in Saudi Arabia, and his 18th place finish in the "Grand Swiss," the strongest open tournament ever held, which took place in the Isle of Man in 2019.
